A Not-So Typical Monday Afternoon SOL #12/31

am joining Two Writing Teachers for the Slice of Life Story Challenge.  I appreciate this space for writers to tell their stories and connect with each other.

So what do you do when you have an appointment in the middle of the afternoon?

1.  Have your foster mom sign you out of school at noon so you can go to lunch together.

2.  Stop at the library and check out some books.  You can never have enough books.

3.  Go out for ice cream.

4.  Head to your appointment with a full belly and smile on your face.

  1. One on one time that is so important! She’s going to remember the afternoon and its simple pleasures.

  2. Julie you’re doing amazing things for these girls. They will forever remember you and all you’ve made them feel. They are blessed by your large heart!

  3. Yes! Great choices for the afternoon! Deb is right, those girls are blessed to have you. :-) ~JudyK

  4. Ahh the memories before the appointment. I remember before doctor appointments when I knew our children would be getting shots we created the memory before and then went home to read a book together.

  5. Perfect way to get to the appointment!

  6. According to this little kid we can imagine how typical this day she spend. We know that she is very cute and love to complete her study but in that typical day she find many problems and all that problems are not for her.
