New Project

It's a busy month of writing and commenting with the Two Writing Teachers' Slice of Life March Challenge.  Please visit their site to read other slice of life stories and leave a comment or two.

It's always something at our house.  The newest project?  Hardwood floors.  We are Do it Yourself kind of people.  Although, to be honest, Keith has taken the brunt of this project.  The carpet is up, new tools bought, and even more hard core tools rented.  We are avid watchers of YouTube videos as we learn the ins and outs of taking up tile and preparing the floors for new wood.  I can say without a doubt, it's never boring at the Johnson house.

  1. Go Johnson's Go. I don't have to go watch HGTV tonight. I wonder if you'll have more thoughts about this project. I bet these tools makes sounds and noise. Happy looking for writing.

  4. You and your husband are brave. Since my husband and I are both teachers, well he's retired, projects were always done in the summer.

  6. i am in awe of your bravery. To tear up with the confidence that you can figure it out how to create a new. To make it your own. I think I can only do that (barely) with teaching and words!

  7. My husband is handy when it comes to household projects. He's even done ceramic tile. House projects can be overwhelming. We don't have any big ones going at the moment. Kudos to Keith and wood floors!
